The first solar panels were installed in 1995 – ever since, the sun has heated the water. The family business is fully committed to local sourcing: pine wood from the neighboring forest, meat from the village butcher, cheese from the valley dairy. Flowers and herbs come from the garden – visible, fragrant, and real.
food that brings people together
Cooking is based on organic, seasonal ingredients. Guests and locals dine together – sharing quality that connects. Kitchen waste goes to the compost, supporting the garden. Packaging is avoided, waste minimized.
conscious mobility
Two e-bikes are available for outings, and a charging station is provided for electric cars – small, thoughtful steps with great effect. On the annual GILDE cooking day, all proceeds go to social projects in the valley.
