Built to be carbon neutral, the hotel uses an innovative heating system: an underground ice reservoir combined with geothermal probes provides warmth – supplemented by Swiss green electricity. The building materials were sourced locally, saving transport emissions.

DIGITAL, LOW-EMISSION & MINDFUL
Paper has been replaced by tablets, guest info is digital. “Phone bed” boxes in the rooms reduce electromagnetic exposure. Natural Elky mattresses promote restorative sleep.

LOCAL CONNECTIONS, GLOBAL COMMITMENT
Twist restaurant focuses on regional, seasonal cuisine – with plenty of vegetarian options. Guests can plant a tree when booking and actively support environmental projects via myClimate.

GREEN MEETINGS, INSPIRED REST
The “Ideenwerkstatt” hosts seminars and events with a view – optionally with vegetarian food, clean energy and alpine scenery. Whether for a retreat or workshop, Valsana combines comfort with purpose – in every detail.
