A range of labels: from Bronze to Platinum
Various members of the Responsible Hotels of Switzerland group have succeeded in achieving certification by ibex fairstay, and they now display the organisation's labels. In 2021, for instance, the Hauser Hotel in St. Moritz obtained the Platinum Label – the highest level awarded by ibex fairstay. This hotel's commitment to sustainability dates back many years, and acting with the future in mind is embedded in its DNA. The Hotel Belvedere in Grindelwald has also been awarded the Platinum Label on account of its sustainable heating and cooling concept based on wood and groundwater. The Cervo Mountain Resort in Zermatt, which meets almost all of its energy demand with geothermal heat and solar panels, was awarded the ibex fairstay Gold label on its first attempt at certification. Other properties in the Responsible Hotels of Switzerland group are currently undergoing inspection by ibex fairstay as they await certification.
