Nachhaltiges Energiekonzept und umgeben von einer grünen Oase

The Valbella Resort obtains its electricity supply from 100% renewable energy sources. Over the last ten years, structural measures have reduced power consumption per overnight stay by 22%, and the resort’s CO2 emissions have improved by no less than 59%. This has made it possible to exceed all the carbon reduction targets agreed with major energy consumers and the FOEN (Federal Office for the Environment) by over 380 tonnes of CO2.

As of 2022, employees benefit from their own staff quarters with 46 ultra-modern rooms, a mere five minutes’ walk from the hotel.

The Valbella Resort collaborates with its neighbour, farmer Marco Parpan, on a joint organic beef project that involves breeding organic cattle: meat from these animals is served in the hotel’s restaurant in accordance with the nose-to-tail principle. The restaurant sells tapwater and donates half the revenues to UNICEF’s «Water for Life» project.

Through partnerships with other organisations such as Childhood Cancer Switzerland and Alzheimer Graubünden, the resort enables people with disabilities to enjoy discounted stays.
