Rooms are furnished with Swiss stone pine and larch from the Engadine – felled during the new moon to enhance their calming effect. It promotes healthy sleep and connects guests with the alpine surroundings – not symbolically, but tangibly.

More than 30% of all products come from regional SMEs or are certified organic. The in-house label makes this origin visible – from breakfast bread to the legendary Hauser nut cake with walnuts from Eastern Switzerland. Here, origin isn’t just declared – it’s made tangible.

A highly efficient heat recovery system captures kitchen and refrigeration heat to generate hot water. The IBEX Fairstay Platinum certification confirms the hotel’s ecological standards – implemented, not claimed.

drinking water that makes a difference
Since 2016, proceeds from bottled water have gone to social projects – including the Laos Skilldream project and the Bandooi orphanage. Over 10,000 francs annually show: responsibility here isn’t an afterthought – it’s part of daily life, even beyond the Alps.
