Home-produced food and beverages

The bread, cheese and beer served to guests at the Teufelhof in Basel are produced by the hotel itself – in its own confectionery/bakery, its own dairy and its own brewery. And service with a smile is provided by the hotel's many young employees – the property employs an above-average number of apprentices and interns. 

The "Theatre in the Teufelhof" association promotes individual artists and groups from the region, all the way from support with rehearsals in its own theatre through to premières at the Teufelhof. Through the MALIAN Association, the Teufelhof Basel aims to integrate and support individuals with restricted earning capacity. This is a way of offering opportunities for participation in everyday working life to individuals who are at a disadvantage in the labour market for personal, health-related, social and sociopolitical reasons. All these efforts to ensure sustainability bear witness to the Teufelhof's aspiration to become even better, by working every day to continue driving social and ecological sustainability ahead.
